Wrought iron craft or 'Lauh-shilp' is one of the oldest craft forms of Bastar. Iron is heated and beaten to the desired thickness and shape, without any casts or molds.
Lauh-Shilp (Wrought iron craft) is one of the most unique and the oldest craft form in Bastar Region. The art originated from the iron smith community that used to make farming and hunting implements for tribes.
